It seems the entire net is gone filter crazy. It makes sense that now that every person in the modern world has a decent camera there are becoming smaller and smaller differences between the quality of shots. Case in point is the latest iPhone camera is absolutely stellar. iPhone 4 video quality alone is amazing for the fact that its your phone. But to my point, adding effects and filters to a photograph can definitely set the mood. I f0und this Polaroid filter on Deviant art. It actually works really well, if you are going for that retro look without the pain of film. I’m sure the purists will scoff and winge, but time, and variety I think will end up winning out.
You can grab the filter here… All you need to do is download the zip file which is an action script for photoshop and run it. I was amazed at how well it was put together.
In this shot I used the expired t600 film which was an interesting look.
